Paper on Gold

In development …

1.                   In terms of colour, gold is most familiar in the meditative imagery, e.g., the golden path, ‘the golden disk’, golden thread, golden lotus, the heart center, etc. Gold is therefore suggestive of man, the Scorpio Hierarchy, Mercury, and his function as path and ideal. [for more on Gold, see paper by VSK here: www.vicktorya.com]

2.                   Gold is the colour of kingly treasure, the colour of the base of economic circulation of mankind (until recently?).

3.                   It is a colour of purity; pure gold, related to the heart, the golden lion heart of courage and confidence.

4.                   Gold is particularly Leonian, carrying a first and second ray blended light. Does Gold also denote the ahamkaric principle, as it is related to Leo?

5.                   This is the first reference to a colour, and it is also a metal. This is another clue to its meaning as a colour and a level of achievement in the mineral kingdom. In this way it relates the lowest ‘kingdom’ (the mineral or physical body), via this :golden bowl”, as it is filled with buddhi, the lowest of the levels the Solar Logos in his pranic emanations can reach (i.e., man’s buddhi). Man’s buddhi is yellow, because it is the colour of the robes of the Sun. Our essential nature is Solar, or Golden. This is directly reflected in the body of man as his etheric body is solarized or filled with His Golden Light.

6.                   Yellow-Gold’s complement is sapphire or blue-indigo.

7.                   Astro-rayologically, gold is most associated with the 2nd and 5th rays; It is the archetypal colour of the Sun; it is related to Vulcan (especially in terms of metal-smithery); and Mercury in some contexts, although it is usually termed yellow.  Silver, as a sister of Gold, is likewise implicated in the moon-Sun duad, and similarly indicative of fluxuating personality qualities to regular Soul principles.

The plane of colour is the plane of the etheric physical, for any of the entities concerned (see Table p. 331) So our considerations of etheric is particularly related to the development of our violet or 7th plane of the cosmic physical, our plane of vision and colour. This is all etheric physical, meaning it can be perceived with the physical eye (eventually.) [To investigate, note to esocolour@ … esoteric and exoteric colours may relate to etheric and physical?]

73. These laws will be understood during the Aquarian Age the culture of which will be much related to the Sun and to the etheric body. The sign Leo, in which the Sun is so prominent, is the polar opposite of Aquarius.
74. We can see the source of the colours of solar and planetary devas reflected in the astrological sign and planetary rulerships of the Creative Hierarchies: the golden flaming yellows of Leo and the Solar Devas, and the violets of Aquarius and Uranian etheric body (the physical Creative Hierarchy ruled by the moon) for the planetary devas.

1. In terms of colour, we can note that yellow and violet are also two of the three colours for the buddhic plane, along with blue. A VSK proposal anyway, based off of research around 3 entities table on page 331, TCF; which is, in this context:.
a. In that model Leo and buddhi are Electrical Colour: Violet is the colour of the lowest plane of manifestation. Violet – for the solar logos, because it is His lowest plane of manifestation;
b. Aquarius would be related to man with yellow as the colour for this level of buddhic vibration. And externally, we confirm the Solar Light, physically-etherically viewed, is yellow.
c. Now blue is the ‘sound’ of the Planetary Logos’ buddhic plane. These dual indigo-blue sky robes of SK are true blue buddhi. This suggests the Scorpio Hierarchy therefore, and Mercury, within this overlay of the Creative Hierarchies to the manifestation of electricity (as shown on p. 331)
